In October 2018 NY Crime Victims Legal Help was launched as a pilot in Erie, Niagara, and Genesee counties. In 2019 it was expanded to all counties in New York State outside of New York City to assist victims of crime with civil legal matters if they either live in or have been victimized in those counties. We hope that our online resource helps crime victims living in these areas know their rights and get connected with the civil legal assistance they need.

The Advocate Gateway is currently under construction but is available for Referral Partners during this time. Upon completion, the Advocate Gateway will offer a broad array of professionals access to an assortment of resources via a secure password-protected portal.  The collection of material is meant to help providers enhance their skills and better address the various civil legal needs of their clients.

If you are a professional working with victims of crime and are interested in learning more about this project or becoming a Network Member, please contact us.
